Hi to All The Feminine Whisperers!
This is a weekly Oprah.com Book Club in San Antonio, Texas
for women furthering their spiritual path and interested in diving
especially deep into the teachings of Eckhart Tolle.
We are just finishing the book, A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle.
We followed the 10-week webcast with Oprah and Eckhart, and
this coming Monday night is the last night of the webcast.
Thursday evening we will be discussing the last chapter of our
book.
We will continue to read Eckhart Tolle. Our next book, the group
has decided to read is The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. We
will also incorporate some videos and audios by Eckhart.
We had a great discussion Thursday evening on Chapter 9,
Your Inner Purpose.
"Your inner purpose is to awaken ... it is
the purpose of humanity." (p. 258)
"Opening yourself to the emerging
consciousness and bringing its light
into this world then becomes the
primary purpose of your life." (p. 261)
Next Thursday, May 8, we are discussing the final Chapter 10,
A New Earth.
Eckhart states that we are "in the midst of a momentous event in the
evolution of human consciousness on our planet."
